How to Plan a Grand Wedding at The Wenbeck Lewis Center Venue

Planning a wedding for a larger guest list requires a venue that can handle the scale without losing the personal touches that make your day feel intimate. We've hosted weddings of many sizes here at The Wenbeck in Lewis Center, and we know what couples need when they're planning something grand.

To plan a grand wedding at The Wenbeck in Lewis Center, start by choosing spaces that accommodate your guest count, such as the All Seasons Pavilion for the ceremony and the ballroom for the reception. Coordinate catering and bar services, confirm included items like chairs and linens, and work with the venue manager to organize timelines, vendors, and setup.

What Makes a Wedding Feel Grand Without Feeling Overwhelming

A large guest count doesn't mean you lose warmth or connection. It means you need thoughtful spaces that let guests move naturally through your day. Our ballroom comfortably accommodates up to 210 guests for a seated reception, and the All Seasons Pavilion holds up to 225 for your ceremony. Both spaces work independently or together, so you can design a flow that feels right for your celebration.

Two Distinct Spaces That Work Together

We designed The Wenbeck with two very different environments. The ballroom gives you an elegant indoor setting with high ceilings, a stone fireplace, and a large dance floor. It's climate-controlled year-round, so your guests stay comfortable no matter the season. The All Seasons Pavilion offers an open-air feel with retractable glass doors, heat, ceiling fans, and lighting. It overlooks a 3,000 square foot patio with views of one of three ponds on the property.

You can host your ceremony in the pavilion and your reception in the ballroom, or combine both spaces for a dance under the stars while keeping your dinner service indoors. That flexibility matters when you're coordinating a large wedding, because it gives you options if your vision shifts during planning.

What's Included When You Book

Every Grand wedding package includes venue access with flexible arrival times, a five-hour reception with one hour for load out, and all setup and teardown. We provide gold Chiavari chairs, white ceremony chairs, tables for guests and gifts, and polyester linens and napkins in your choice of colors. You'll also have access to our new Wedding Suite and Parlor with separate get-ready rooms, a complimentary hour rehearsal, house arch usagees, and overnight parking.

Your Venue Manager is present during your event, greets and directs vendors, designs your room layout, reviews contracts and final details with you, and runs your 60-minute rehearsal. The manager also meets with you (and your outside coordinator, if you have one) about one month before the wedding so everyone is aligned. If you want more hands on planning support, our optional Day-of Coordination add on can take over vendor communication one month out and help manage decor and end of night pack up.

Bar and Catering Flexibility

We hold a State of Ohio Liquor License and offer three bar service options. With BYOB+, we provide alcohol, mixers, non alcoholic beverages, and bartenders, and you can take home unopened beer, wine, seltzers, and champagne. Our drink packages include unlimited drinks, standard mixers, the first two bartenders, and non alcoholic beverages. Cash bar service is available for Friday and Sunday weddings only.

For catering, we partner with trusted companies including The Berwick, L.A. Catering, City BBQ, Hudson's Edge, and several others. You're welcome to work with a caterer from our preferred list or bring your own. If you choose a caterer who isn't on our list, we partner with Top Shelf Events to provide service staff, so you still get the quality of service your event deserves.

Unique Details That Keep Guests Engaged

One amenity couples consistently appreciate is our putt-putt course. It's available all day to the wedding parties while they get ready on site and to guests during the reception. It gives guests something unexpected to do while you're taking photos. We also offer golf cart transportation, four arch options, hurricane vases with pearled wax, pipe and drape, a champagne cart, and two neon signs you can choose from.

The property sits on 28 acres on the grounds of Little Bear Golf Club, so you have manicured golf course views without country club dues. We're near Polaris, major highways, and hotels, which matters when you're hosting guests from out of town or coordinating vendor arrivals.
